Visa
Needed before you travel on Irish, EU, UK and US passports. ECOWAS citizens are exempt.
Yellow fever certificate
You must show one on arrival. Also talk to your GP about malaria tablets.
Best time to visit
November to March is dry season. Expect hazy harmattan skies in December and January.
Money
Ghana cedi (GHS). Carry cash for markets, tro-tros and rural areas.
